About Jesus

Jesus is the center of everything we do.

At Christ Alive City Church, Jesus is not a theme — He is our foundation, our message, and our King. Every gathering, every prayer, every song, and every sermon is built around the person and finished work of Jesus Christ.

We believe Jesus is the Son of God, crucified for our sins, risen in power, and seated as Lord over all. Through Him we receive forgiveness, freedom, and a new identity as sons and daughters of God.

A teacher of the Word, a man of prayer, and a father to a generation rising in Christ.

Pastor Peter Israel Mayanja is the Founder and Lead Pastor of Christ Alive City Church. With a deep love for Jesus and a clear prophetic voice, he leads the ministry in teaching the Scriptures, raising disciples, and equipping believers to walk in purpose.

His ministry is marked by sound doctrine, sincere worship, prayer, and a passion to see lives transformed by the gospel — across Uganda, the Americas, and the nations.
